Broke Village Fair

This run takes us to the Broke Village Fair. As their web site says:

"This is our one big day of the year when the village of Broke welcomes visitors from all over NSW to enjoy our peaceful village."

The famous Vintage Car Display brings all sorts of classic cars, motorbikes, trucks & tractors and an amazing array of old but still functioning farm machinery from long ago.

The local school, bush fire brigade, churches and Village Hall all benefit from money raised on the day, and a great day out is assured for all. Market stalls with all sorts of things, plenty of food and drink, animals to pat, wood chopping, snakes & lizards ... something for everybody."

The Fair starts at 9:00am and closes around 3:00pm so, if you like to get up really early, you could meet the rest of us there. Come and join in the fun.

Meeting Place:

Truck park at old tollgates on Pacific Hwy at Berowra (There are loos there)

0km	F3 freeway North towards Gosford
24km	Exit F3 at Calga interchange and follow Peats Ridge Road north
41km	Bear left at Peats Ridge Village to Central Mangrove on George Downes Road
	Follow George Downes Road through Central Mangrove and Kulnura to Bucketty
73km	Straight on in Bucketty heading for Yalambie, Laguna and Wollombi. Road becomes the Great North Rd in Bucketty
96km	Keep left in Wollombi for Broke on Paynes Crossing Road.
125km	Broke - follow directions to the Fair in McNamara Park

There is a short section of gravel road just outside Wollombi on the Paynes Crossing road so leave a reasonable gap between cars so you don't get sprayed with dirt. We will group up again when it ends.

If you want to avoid the gravel, there are a couple of alternative routes:

At Wollombi, turn right and head for Broke via Cessnock and Pokolbin
From Berowra, follow the F3 to the Cessnock exit then to Broke via Cessnock and Pokolbin
